Getting Crowded and the new engine is home

The new Gen 4 5.3 and the old 4.7 from the daily I pulled due to failing head gaskets and rattling timing chains. Amazing how much lighter the aluminum block is vs the Gen 3 iron block 5.3. 

It’s a 2010 LC9 5.3 aluminum gen 4 with 243 heads. Plans include removing the DOD (Displacement on demand) and the VVT (Variable Valve Timing). I also will be replacing the head gaskets with LS9 head gaskets and head studs. The cam will most likely be a custom LJMS cam.
