Read moreIf you are under the age of 40, and live in Greenville, Ohio, you may not know that a once thriving racetrack existed here within the city limits (or that New Bremen had a race track, or the bowl track that was out near the Maid rite here in Greenville). It was called Greenville Motor Speedway, and is located on Eidson rd on the south end of town, right across from the Darke County Fairgrounds. It resides behind the now gone Speedway Drive-in theater.
With the introduction of modern fuel injected engines and computer controlled distributorless ignition systems, timing lights began to go the way of the DoDo, however they still are a necessary tool that every technician and do-it yourselfer should be familiar with and comfortable using. Read more
